David Begin and Deborah Pritchard met while working at a small chemical formulating company. David was the Marketing Manager in search of new products and Deborah was the Developmental Chemist trying to provide them. The dilemma was that Deborah had a very difficult time getting small samples from the large companies for her product testing. When she expressed this frustration to David, the service void in the chemical industry was identified and a concept to fill that niche with a service-oriented company was developed. In 1984, Begin and Pritchard founded Chemical Marketing Concepts, Inc. in a 1,200 square foot industrial garage in New Milford, Connecticut.

Today, CMC is the world's largest chemical sample fulfillment company having shipped over 4 million samples! With three state-of-the-art chemical warehouse and packaging facilities CMC has over 100,000 square feet and 100 employees. In response to client requests our services have expanded to include call center services, internet ordering capabilities, small package sales program, cGMP packaging and temperature and light sensitive product handling.
